Poetry Events!

Piper Mullins' group the Denver Poet's Association Meets every Tuesday evening at 5:30 for a poetry reading in the Cimarron Grill. After the reading, she takes a group to Common Grounds (Pretty Boys with Ken Arkind and Friends) for another reading which includes readers from all over the states, as well as local poets. All styles of poetry are welcome. For more information, contact Piper at pmullin3@mscd.edu.

Please stay tuned for news about the Poetry Scroll, which will be brought to the MSCD campus by Chris Ransick, Denver's Poet Laureate. The date for its arrival is still TBA, but tentatively set in the first week of October (possibly Friday October 5 th). The scroll is Ransick's project to get everyone writing the longest poem ever. Ransick will be on campus on October 5th, as well.

You have received this mail because you have attended Metro Poets events in the past, attended a poetry class, are affiliated in some way with the Denver Poets Association or have expressed an interest in poetry.
